What are your fitness/exercise goals for 2009?



well my exercise regieme has gone completely to pot this month due to a bad cold/cough that I just can't seem to shift. This also hasn't been the best year for me in terms of my fitness as I've been plagued with a knee injury that just won't quite go away. It's kind of under control now though, so I've been thinking about what I'd like to achieve fitness wise next year. So far I am thinking I'd like to:- start doing more weights as I've really only focussed on running this year. I want to get the body I had about 4 years ago back as it was the best I've ever looked - weights are the key!- start building up my running again so that I am doing long distances again - not doing more than 10km at the moment- run a half marathon in under 2 hours- increase my running speed as well as my distance- I also want to try something new, not sure what that will be yet but want to try and keep it interesting so that I stay motivatedAm sure there will be loads more when I think about it some more. Really keen to start the new year feeling motivated about my fitness after having a lazy month. So, what about everyone else - what are you hoping to achieve this year?
